Bio

Paul grew up in Metro Detroit, where he garnered a passion for geology from observing the many glacial features of his home. With a focus on geophysics, he studied for his master's at Wayne State University. He developed a love of volcanism, and by extension geothermal, through his research in both Iceland and Idaho. For Paul, the thrill of geology is that of a detective, trying to piece together a mystery of the ancient past with only the handful of pieces left available to him.
